Fortnight Journal Re-Launch

After two years of steady releases, Fortnight Journal transitioned to a static site. The non-profit was shutting down, and the team wanted to archive the site in a way that wouldn’t make the content seem dated. We changed the layout from a daily journal structure to a static gallery of individual contributors. This included a clear focus on the individual contributors (we added bios and large profile images) and an easy way to linearly drill down into the contributions. From a UX perspective we also added slight fades, a more touch-centric feel, and a clear association between contributors and their vocations.
